Who else agrees with me that slightley older music is better?!

Question: for example:

Anyone remeber the Journey - Don't stop belivin'

just a small town girl, living in a lonely world, she took the midnight train going anyway.......

or how about,

nickelback - how you remind me? thats not really old but you know.

Never made it as a wise man, i couldnt cut it as a poor man stealing, tired of living like a blind man, im sick inside without a sense of feeling. thats how you remind me what i really am.

or Daniel Powter - Bad Day

Where is the moment we needed the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to gray
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on.....

they are my top three quite old songs that should NEVER be forgotton, what are your favourite? comment on ,mine and what you think of them!

Journey is awesome

there was more good music made before I was born than since!

i totally agree with you

You can't beat the 70's and 80's music!!

yes you can actually hear the words todays music is too fast paced

Yes you got it right!! There is a lot of old bands who's music still lives on today!!

Here's the deal, or at least this is how I see it: As far as older stuff is concerned, the public by popular demand has weeded out all of the garbage that was out concurrently with the good stuff, so now all we have left from that "era" is the good stuff. But with new music, we've still yet to thin out the selection enough to where you only hear the really good songs from the present day. But I guarantee you that ten years from now, the music put out in the 2000's will seem oddly great compared to what's being put out at that point. See what I mean???

P.S. Journey has this ungodly song called 'Trial By Fire' that you never hear on the radio but it is my alltime favorite, ever. If you like their stuff, try to find it.

I agree, Journey is amazing. I mainly listen to stuff from the 80's and 90's, sometimes 70's. I'm not really into the music that's out now, but idk some of it's ok.
