Yes I have.
And though it causes much pain for those left behind, calling them selfish is not correct. We can never know the amount of pain and anguish a person is experiencing, and every person is different. Having a support network is so important, and yet, in our oh so busy world..we tend to forget our friends/family. An attempt is a cry for help..ignore it and it reinforces the person's belief that no one cares.
I've been living with a degenerating nerve condition which causes chronic pain 24/7. There are times I lose the use of one or both legs, resulting in many a fall. Though I spent my life trying to help people, even got an award for doing so, now that I need help..friends have disappeared and doors have slammed shut. It's been 11 years now and I can see no light at the end of the long tunnel.
It's no longer a question of 'if' for me...it's a question of 'when.'

I didnt know him like that. but i knew him =( His name was joeseph back in middle school i remember hearing that he had shot himself. Pretty sad but i never knew why he did it. =/

Yes my nephew blew out his brains on the front lawn of his parents house and his mom came home to find him there.
Yes...my sister's husband...heroin overdose....he was a long time user and knew what he was doing when he drew it up in the needle...left behind 2 young sons......shame really....
Yes I did. It was the cowards way of not facing life that would have gotten better...instead they made it better for them at the moment and worse for their family in the long run.
