Do you feel pressured to be "In Love"?!
Question: just because its Valentines Day?
Answers: just because its Valentines Day?
The day itself doesn't pressure me, for it is just a day on the second page of one's calendar, rather it exacerbates the normally dormant depression associated with being single.
Normally, I don't really think about the fact that I've been single for over two years, and that I haven't even had sex, or even a kiss, for over one.
Normally, none of this crosses my mind. I can push these thoughts, when they surface, back into submission in the depths of my soul. I can ignore the couples I see walking arm-in-arm and not listen to the love songs on the radio and the innumerable dating-related advertisements that berate me from my radio and television.
Come February 14th, however, I can't ignore any of this, for the American corporate powers shove in my face the fact that it's Valentine's Day and everyone has someone [so why don't you?].
I realize that, in the eyes of these greedy moguls, I am but another chump with a wallet that deserves to empty it's paper contents into their coffers. I know that there is nothing about love or romance at all in their motives for these messages.
...but that doesn't make it hurt any less.
F*ck Valentine's Day.
no, not at all = )
No
Nah, you know I just love myself.
No at all , coz we both understand that Valentine is emotinal thing n not material ... me n my hubby agreed tht every Valentine day we should have dinner on the roof filled with candles , hv day off from our offices n spend it together from morning to midnight .....
? No.
I feel pressured to be "in love" all the time, not just Valentines Day
