How do you get to work/school/college every day?!
Question: I drive 6 miles from home to work every day. No buses go near my village and although we have a train station we get one train per hour to the nearest town but not before 6am and I start work at 6am!

i walk for about 15minutes to the nearest bus station and take the 6.55am bus to the metro station ,then i take line 7 for half an hour before changing to the commuter train at 8.05am.the train will arrive at my stop 38minutes later where i will get on another bus that takes me to my office building...i usually arrive at 9.05 to 9.15...on great days ,which is very rare...i will arrive at 9sharp!!!

bus comes near my home....quite convenient, coz my dad has to travel to work to another city and that takes half n hour and he needs to leave early...so saves him the trouble of leaving me to school
My mom drives me there. =] I leave at 7:30 each morning. Drive 1.5 miles everyday. Get at school at 7:45, 15 mins early. =].
Car, we live 14 miles from a town up on the fells
I drive. But then I have to park like half a mile away because all the parking permits were sold out at my overpopulated high school.

I try to ride my bike to college everyday. On days that it is wet or icy, I just walk. I bet that I don't live more than 3/4 mile from any of my classes. If I were to drive, I would end up having to walk further than I do now, thanks to the endless construction on my campus.
No fair! This question is leaving the schoolless out! I shall pout now!
I work from home, so I just fall out of bed and I'm there.

i drive more than 4miles from home to work everyday..
we have city bus but it is on schedule every hour too and sometimes its pretty disgusting coz of traffic and the bus is always late..

Walk ten minutes to get there and 12 minutes to get back!!
I am able to walk to work, I am lucky to live near where I work, about 1/4 mile away
By bus. But actually I have to walk about 30 min-tins to the bus station everyday~~~
I drive the 22 miles (each way) to work, it takes about ? hour, would take at least 2 hours by public transport
If I remember to charge it up, I ride my 'Bright Bike' to my computer classes on a Tuesday and Friday. (This is an electric folding pedal bike) I also fold it up and take it on holiday with me in the caravan, and the same in the car when I need to use it for the return journey. My milage to college is only 6 miles there and back. so it a nice ride for me. I am 65 after all!!
