How do you calm yourself down from being angry at someone not currently around y!
Question: I just came into work and can choke the dude that was "supposed" to be here waiting for me to take over. Instead I found out that he left 1 1/2 hours early because "he didn't have anything to do". Another co-worker that left on time told me this. My heart is pumping so hard right now and I am in the mood for doing something violent. It's not the first time this punk has done this to me on weekend work. Besides breathing slowly, what is best to get over this situation knowing that I still have the crap he didn't finish doing? Please, calm my anger before I break this keyboard!

I have to break something, or scream in a pillow. I have quick onset rage if someone really ticks me off.
Find something to preoccupy yourself ASAP (Y!A maybe?)
count to ten
TALK TO JESUS AND ASK FOR COMFORT
think of Stewie
just be a better worker and maybe he will get fired
go put something smelly like, a left-over salami sandwich in his desk - way in back
Count slowly to ten and think about something calm peaceful and sweet, like a baby alligator.
jst go & start brushing ur teeth till ur anger went down to zero
Answer a question.
Get up, go into the hallway starwell and push the wall as hard as you can while you yell curse-words. Basically exaust yourself with light excercise. If you know martial arts, do a little shadowboxing, if not, just punch the air.
Then get back to work, an extra 1 1/2 hours work isn't that much, you can do it. Think about how good you'll look when you get the credit!
