i asked my friend and it really did happen once. something like that actually. her uncle had critisized the restaurant's punctuality and the looks of the fod so, the waiter ate a little bit of the food as a confirmation that it was tasty, and then spit on it saying that it was the uncle's fault for judging the foodby its looks and not by taste.
no. then no one would come to the restaurant... and you would notice.

My sister got revenge on a school bully a few years ago by spitting (just a teeny bit) in the bully's food. My sister was the cook.

It is possible. If the staff are really angry they may feel like they are getting even with the rude customers. It is gross to think about.
yes they do...my friends works in a restaurant, and a woman was so rude to her, that the entire kitchen staff..lets say added a little extra something to her order !!!

This actually has been discovered by the use of cameras. Generally this is not practiced or else the staff would be caught and get fired. You can rest assured that it is unlikely that someone has spat in your food.

Most likely no, but I have known someone who's soccer coach came in for dinner, and I mean no ordinary soccer coach, the biggest wanker/jerk type while he happened to be working there.
Of course the coach didn't notice the spit mixed with his food.
So don't be mean to anyone at all, or else you'll never know what may be lurking inside your burger!

they do more than just spit, if you make them mad and you see them go to the bathroom before you get your food you better beleive that there something on your food
This happens. I worked in restaurants & catering halls when I was young & have seen it in both places.
If you are rude to restaurant staff you are asking for problems. I have seen some things done to the food of some people that would turn your stomach. Typically only done to the extremely rude guests. From what I have seen, none of them noticed. So, FYI, don't think it doesn't happen or will be detectable. Best to be nice and if the service sucks, get rude after you have eaten.
