Question: Knocking on Heavens Door and Tears in Heaven. Both of these songs were played at my dear brother's funeral. He loved this type of music and we had the upbeat version of Knocking on Heavens Door played. It brought me and my sister a moment of peace as we tapped our feet to the beat and reflected on our brother probably doing the same in heaven. We also played his favorite song "Freebird". Sometimes when I listen to these songs I feel sad as I remember his funeral, but as the songs play on I start to have good memories of him and again feel peace that he is now in heaven and at peace himself.

I love Knock On Heaven's Door, and Stairway To Heaven ( there are 2 versions The O'Jay's and a girl group called Pure Soul.
Of the possible choices, i enjoy "Tears In Heaven" but I propose to add "Heaven's On Fire" by KISS
