Annoying certainly, but there would be a lot less confusion and mixed messages and all that stuff which regular adult interpersonal communication leaves out.

Maybe, except the fact that i cant sing, and musicals kinda annoy me. It would make alot of people happier, and it would be kind of hard to stay mad at someone if they sang me a sappy love song or something. Also i wouldn't be mad anymore if they started to sing to me and they were terrible singers (i would be to buzy laughing to think about how mad i am) lol. good question =)
Elmo is forever signing around my house and while my 2 year old loves him, I now want to drop kick him into next week.

I have a grown daughter (soon to be 27) who always sings but they are actual songs.
I also have a 3 year old granddaughter that I have been raising since birth. She sings about everything. Yesterday while I was dressing her, she was singing ? I'm putting on my princess shirt ? and my princess pants ? and I love them ? I always like to wear them ? ? She is always happy and maybe you are right, ?? maybe we should all sing all the time ??.
When kids do it, it's cute. If adults did it, the homicide rate would skyrocket.
Well....if I were given the opportunity to teach the world to sing first, it *might* just work.
It would be hard to sing in a super high pitched voice because I have one of those low sultry voices good for phone sex and if I sang with that, I would scare away everyone because I cannot sing. I'd have no friends.
The chipmunks always seem to be exuberantly happy ... so your inspiration may have a perfectly good point.
