Shouldn't Linkin Park Minutes to Midnight be at least in the top ten albums !
Question: It didn't make the top ten in Rolling Stone, Andrew Womack's list, or the Billboard's top ten. I do see the pattern there, but if you actually listen through the lists, few have as many hits as Minutes to Midnight. Bleed it out, shadow of the day, hands held high, their first hit... These guys are NOT my favorite band, but I definitely think it at least deserved a spot in the top 10. Am I going crazy? Kanye West's album earned No. 2 in the Billboards

Radio hits and chart numbers are not a measure of success. They're rigged by music industry mumbo jumbo. That's why we have the likes of Soulja Boy and his ilk plaguing the airwaves.
While Linkin Park is my favorite band, I feel one of the only reasons they're doing so well now is because their music label knows that they're a successful band and will try to milk as much out of them as they can, whether or not Linkin Park or their fans like it.
As for being in the top ten, they're just opinions by a person. Just because they get published in a magazine doesn't make their opinion more valid than yours. I loved Minutes to Midnight myself, even though the hype's been exaggerated for it, and there are some other great CD's that came out this year, I'm sure everyone's top 10 will be different. Really... has anyone ever completely agreed with the "top __ anything" lists?
