well I mostly ask silly questions. My life revolves around a critical thinking creed. I research most of the questions I have because I find certain people on her biased with important information.
this approach alone teaches me the rarity of understanding both points to a topic which is solely relative to the scientific method.
what I learn through answering. I have many textbooks here to refer to, to make my point correct. so ill crack one open and read from it and learn at the same time which is a win win.
I try to steer away from giving opinions unless it is completely logical and moral.
yahoo answers taught me alot also on how insecure people are, and will ask questions basically to hear an answer that they want to hear to make their situation falsly justified.
like when I give textbook answers, even negative, people are scared from truths and want to think they are normal and have no problems which is very false. that upsets me at times. go to singles and dating, and health sections. answers are black and white and no matter what I get thumbs downed.
I won't even get started on religion and spirituality. that gets intense.
sorry about the continuum of tangents lol, I am notorious for that.

No matter how intelligently you state your case, you will not change any ones mind in the Global Warming, Religion and Spirituality or Politics sections. The most useful information I have gotten is to relax and have fun.

The biggest thing I've learned on Yahoo is that people can't spell for shi*t! Holy cheeses people, spell check is there for a reason - USE it!

Besides, I'm the one 99% of the time giving advise...not asking for it. When I do ask a question...it's usually about YA :)
