Question: no, just the water. I have a fierce phobia about burning the string!

yes lol

no

No...
because i dont make my tea in the microwave...

ive never made tea in the microwave

once I put my cousins nintendo ds in there on full blast.

he werent too happy about that

yes.

No I just boil the water on the stove and pour it over myteabag. Not a good idea to microwave your water and it can potentially burn tea making it taste different from how it was intended too.

No

Tea in the microwave!!??! That's sacriligious! How could you?

Eugh I have only ever been forced to do that when the kettle was broke but I never seem to be able to get good brew out of it, or using a pan on the hob. Has to be a kettle!

I think teabags work best in hot water so it needs to be hot before you put it in, so just nuke the water in a jug then pour onto teabag and add milk if required!

either way works but don't nuke it if it has a string stapled to the bag. the staple will spark.

isn`t the kettle quicker if you put only the aount of water you need in it ?

Kind of funny you ask my husband was just saying yesterday that i shouldnt nuke my tea bag...I should just nuke the water then add the bag cause it has a staple in it and i dont want it to arc. I have done it for years but i guess he has a point. so now i just nuke the water not the bag...

How disgusting no - never even gave it a thought.

Guess I'm a borin old f@rt and just use the kettle like we "wrinklies" do....................!

I can't believe you do that!........New one on me!

HAVE FUN!...................X
