What are British accents? Cause there are 4 different British acents, Irish Scottish English Welsh and all the sub accents in between
England, Yorkshire accent, Londoner accent, Birmimgham. Manchester, Liverpool
Scotland, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and so on
get clued up, these Q's annoy me being Scottish/English myself

No. My sis-in-law is from England and we just laugh at some of the stuff she says. My smallest niece has one too. Pretty darned cute!

Well, in my life, I didn't grow up speaking English. I did learn it from Kindergarten age, and they taught us British. Then I met a Texan lady and I was hooked into learning that draw.. LOL
Make the story short, before I moved here, in the US of A - I went to England. I had a stronger British accent than them!! LOL
They accused me that I spoke like the Television! :)
What irks me is the Australian English, OY! It's like you're coming down the slide every time you say a word.
British English won me through Pierce Brosnan. :)
Now, Irish - is a different story. LOL
But I still love southern draw Te'exas, Ala'bayma, Geo'orgia... I think it's to die for. I tend to pick up on the accents of the people that I am around the most.
That's why people can't guess that I am not from USA, cuz I don't really have an accent. What I have is a good musical ear. Long live the queen..
P.S. Oh! BTW.... you never heard Canadians speak English, have you? Now that is even more i'rky' :)) LOL Ewww! - Eh!
