I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, who came to earth to pay the price for our sin. I believe that God created the earth and all it's inhabitants, as well as the universe - even what we don't see. And as Martin Luther put it, I believe that the gospel can not only be seen in the Word, but in the stars, trees, lakes, mountains, and sky.

nope. sorry but i dont want to worship something from a book. ill follow the amendments, or some of them, but i dont need to worship someone just to follow them
I am a christian also.
I don't believe in religion because i think it is for people who have no self esteem to believe in themseves so they believe in something silly to get through life. Also how can you prove something is there with no proof. When i see it i will believe it. I mean also, believing a book to get through life.. what is that all about. And why devote your life to someone you don't even know exists.
I believe that hopefully there is a higher power, so I have at least something positive to look to when facing death. Religion has never been a big thing for me, but I will always respect everyone's beliefs.
I hate to read, but even if I had read the "Bible" etc.(Just an example of a Religion; yours may be another one, I don't know.) I wouldn't live my life on the teachings of something that was written 1000's of years ago, by someone I don't even know exists. No I decide rather to live my life my own way by just being a nice, kind person. Until Religions are proved with facts, I won't believe in them, but I will say that I do believe in a few things in the "Bible" since thats what I, kind of, believe in/ my family, kind of, does. For example it says "Love thy neighbour" or be nice to people around you, which is an easy translation which I think is true, but others like "Cast thy bread upon thy water" just doesn't make any sense to me and frankly sounds a bit like "Shakespeare" who I think is a ****. However I do respect other people's beliefs!
my moms side is christian my dads side is catholic...they sre both the same damn thing and i don't undertand why there's so much drama between "god-loving" people. I personally don't like religion because they spend all their time wishing and hoping and praying for everything to be handed to them. Most of the catholics and christians I've seen at church are ignorant, paranoid, and eccentric. I guess church is for those people who don't have anything better to do than hate on "non-believers".
