Anybody here in the Chicago area having this same problem???!
Question: The very same day I signed up for AT&T home phone service I started getting telemarketing calls! The scary thing is, these people know my name, my address and all that! I thought it used to be your number got picked randomly by a computer but now these people have my personal info too?? Wouldn't that creep you out? I called to find out about switching my phone line to SBC but it turns out AT&T bought out SBC!!! So does anybody have any suggestions on home phone service? When I had SBC in the past, I never got telemarketing calls! It seems like AT&T is just out broadcasting my personal info!! Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!

You need to sign up for the do not call list.
It's at www.donotcall.gov The calls should stop within a week or so after you sign up. If they dont stop, there is a place on the do not call website to report the number.
