McCain has more then that going for him. You might want to check out some of his history before passing any judgments. He was not only a POW in Vietnam, but the North Vietnamese offered him an early release because of who he was, the son and grandson of two highly decorated US Admirals, and he said no because his men were not to be freed. So he volunteered to stay in those horrible conditions with his men of his own free will. He did not want special treatment of any sort, nor did he want to leave his fellow prisoners behind. This is after he had already experienced some time in that jail, so I am sure he really wanted to leave, but he did not. That shows amazing character.
Now that does NOT mean he will make a good president. It does mean he is a man of integrity and honor. It also means he has earned our respect as a nation.
As to his wife, I would have to see a picture of her. LOL She sure does sound pretty. <grin>
