Why do people on YA give stars to those that come right out and ask for one?!
Question: I'm not looking to get a bunch of stars just because I'm asking this question...I'm not asking for any...but I am curious to why some give them so freely...when as for myself, I usually wait til it's a really good question :)

I agree with you. When they come out and ask for a star.......I don't give it to them. Stars should be earned not begged for. Good question......star for you!! Maybe they will read you're question, and get a clue.

Some people don't know the difference in between quality and a really crappy question.
it's more like when ppl think your question is interesting..they will give you one.

Not always,most of them get reported for chatting.
stars are like assholes everybody's got one, oh wait thats opinions...I give stars because I don't really think its that big of a deal

I think its because people disregard the star rating until someone draws your attention to it, or else you would forget that it even exists..

well, normally i give a star for a question i want my contacts to check out...but if someone asks for a star, i'll give them one. it doesn't cost a cent, and it's a positive 'expression'...why not?

'cuz they dont use points & usually they wont x amount of stars to resch a goal but whatever mybe to be nice or i usually do cuz they reall r interesting
