What is the funniest experience you had with a sales call?!
Question: Just a moment ago, I got a sales call with this huge long schpeal about the Special Olympics, and all that they do to help out with the games. He then got to the part where they were selling magazines to help fund them, and I said "Oh, thank goodness you are trying to sell me something, for a moment I thought you were asking me to enter, and I hope that qualify for that." He laughed so hard he couldn't finish the rest of the sales pitch and had to get off the phone.

I told one about a month ago that if she wants me to donate money to her cause, she has to donate money to mine. She asked me what that was, I told her my daughter is selling cookie dough for her school and I can take her credit card info and give her mine. She hung up on me.
We ended up having full on phone sex..
Mine is not as funny as yours. I let them explain everything to me and I proceeded to say I was not interested. They then asked if I would give them a reason for my rejection. I replied no. The person giggled and hung up.
Funny you should ask. Once this woman called me offering me car insurance. She was very agressive so I totally avoided what she was asking me and asked her about the weather and where she was located. I was like do you want to go to lunch today with me? maybe get some coffee? She was like I just told you I was in upstate new york ( mind you I am in Philly) and I'm like well I told you that I had a car!
Aren't you offering me car insurance, I can mapquest your location and drive up now. She hung up on me.
Umm someone called looking for a donation to somewhere and my dad picked it up with the speaker on...and asked for him...he said that he wasn't here and that he(my dad) was the landlord looking for rent money so if they found him w/ money to donate to tell him rent was due !
Kinda hard to follow because they were looking for my dad and he answered saying he wasn't here !
well one time you know how you get calls from different places in the world an they try to sell you something.. one time this guy called he asked for me and i was like "well she is not here right now" and that guy goes "when will she be back" and i go "after a year"
and one time i was very mad talking to my friend and some guy calls to try to sell me something and i told him "we don't want it" nd he goes "no no no mam please take it" i go "we do not want it don't you understand english" he hung up

There was one company that kept calling us, and we could see when it was them on caller ID. Finally, I got so fed up with them calling that I answered the phone in French. The person was so confused, and trying to explain their sales pitch, and I would just say totally random stuff in French. Finally, the person gave up and hung up on me. Actually, they pretty much stopped calling us after that...
My brother had a salesperson keep calling his house, so one day when he answered the phone he decided to mess with them and randomly blurt out "What are you wearing" in his best seductive voice, and the GUY on the other end of the line was totally caught off guard!
