What would happen in the US if a real revolt broke out?!
Question: That's a good q. My hubby and I were just talking about that ourselves. If things keep going the way they are here it is inevitable I believe. Taxes are killing us, the government is trying to crush our spirits, the cost of living is way to high any more, gas is ludicrous. We work just to give it all back by way of taxation. I guess we're lucky they can't tax the air we breathe.

Say good-bye to the economy, developement of health care, education, etc etc etc. Once a revolt breaks out, all political gains are lost and then focused towards the revolt and the revolt only. A revolt would ruin the country and bring the developement and government years backwards and many places down the list of world powers.
It would have to be a very organized uprising. The military/national guard might also have to be involved. Do you think we can? Or, perhaps, no one would notice. The papers wouldn't report it. No TV cameras would show up. Interesting thought, though.

The Cheney-Bush anti terror units would come out of the wood work like termites machining down men, women and children in the name of freedom. The state of Texas would be turned into a prison cell for the uncontrollable masses. Of course when gas hits $6 per gallon next year a major depression will follow with food lines and 25% unemployment like the Great Depression. This will squash the working class peasants before they uprise.

Obama would be the leader as you would see if you went to his churches website at Trinity Christian Church,com and see that he is a liar and a recist. Despite his claims too be the candidate too uninte all races his church does not admitt Whites or Hispanics and favors Africans over Americans. The church states this openly on their website.

Wrong country. Never happen in the US. Way too many one sided politicians and way too many people who vote and lay on party lines regardless of anything.
I've studied politics for years. This is one country where a revolution could never take place. #1 the people who wanted it would be killed by the government and #2 the people wouldn't support it because we are far too of a materialistic society. We like our "things" way too much to give them up for a "reason".
If you really want to join a revolution you need to go to a poorer or third world country that doesn't have so much to lose. Most Americans have way too much to lose.
Many people will die. How and for what is not certain but many people would die.
