It depends on the section.
The horoscope section is one where a longer in depth answer (if accurate) usually gets picked by the asker. Though in that section a lot of times people ask STUPID questions and pick the answer that agrees with them. For example "I'm a Taurus and my boyfriend is a Cancer, will we work?" (stupid question, you don't base relationship compatibility on one's general characteristic traits) and they pick the answer that says "YES" in so many words cause that's what they want to hear.
In other sections, funny or short answers are what people pick or are looking for.
