Do you tend to avert your eyes when talking to someone you don't trust?!
Question: interseting question..now that i think about it, i do. but less frequently than i used to because i have two knew rules to live by that are really really helpful.
1. dont treat anybody as your superior, or you'll always be inferior.
and
2. ask yourself "what would i do if i was confident?" and play the part, eventually, not only do others think your confident but you start acctually feeling condfident.

I don't really trust anybody.
but I rarely hold eye contact with anyone; it just makes me feel uncomfortable to do so for any more than 4 seconds.
No, doing the opposite would make more sense to me.

Never, I look people dead in the eye when I talk to them.

No, for someone I don't trust, I look at their eyes more intently.

No, I look at them to see if they're trustworthy. If they look away a lot, it usually means they aren't.
If I look away, that means I'M the one who can't be trusted. Or maybe I'm just awkward-ish.

I tend to try for facial contact at all times. I subconsciously read lips.

I tend to never look anyone in the eye because it intimidates them as I can see right through them. It is an evil feature to who I am that gets in the way of many friendships.
So I tend to look away most of the time. I am being deceptive but for all the best reasons.
