i sleep in because I don't want to wake up and face the day. Then I'm late to school which makes it even worse because my teacher makes a huge deal out of it.

I just try extra harder not to let it take over my whole attitude. You are still in charge of your day no matter how much it sucks, you can always have the upper hand.
dont fall into temptations... if you believe it, that will become true, if you keep saying I am gonna have a bad day, your gonna look for anything and everything to make it suck and it will, think positive, lifes to short to be in a bad mood all the time!
If its bad for a certain reason, like a test or an appointment or something else I don't feel like doing, I think to myself
In _________ hours it will be over and done with. Fill in the blank with however many hours put you past the event.
And I just try to imagine what it will feel like when that time comes.
Accept the situation as be as possible.
I expect to call in sick, stay in bed, eat ice cream and watch Judge Mathis!
No easy answer to this one. You just have to get out of bed and face it. I try to remember that there are many people having worse days than me.
Appreciate the fact that I woke up... alive and well!!!
Everything after that is a bonus!
