And BTW, Carson123 is a clueless fool. Bob Dylan is one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th Century. His influence has greatly affected everyone from John Lennon, Stevie Wonder, Jim Morrison to Kurt Cobain, Tupac, Eminem and any serious writer that is still living and breathing right now. He was never a great singer, everyone knows that, but his voice is unique and honest. Anyone that thinks his appeal was only because he was anti-war and rebellious has obviously never listened to his music.
And one more thing....Bob never ran around with "June Baez". He did however, hangout with "Joan Baez".

...I guess Cohen, because I never liked Dylan. I think Dylan's appeal was mainly because he was rebellious, anti-war, and a professional protester.
...He ran around with June Baez, too, who by the way has a beautiful singing voice - and that is something that Dylan never had in my opinion - he never had a good singing voice.
