i just did that with my coffee...but i do leave it to cool down before i drink it...sometimes it gets cold and i still drink it...
i have done this many times and it doesnt get any better.its even worse when you leave a half cup of tea in the room and come back 5mins later to discover only when youve had a big gulp that someone has topped it up with coke or ribena or cold water(4yr old)!rank!

Yes, nasty. But not as nasty as that confusing taste that you get when your mouth expects tea but gets coffee because you've forgotten what you made. (or expecting coffee and getting tea) there's that moment of taste confusion whilst you tongue works out what it is. bluech!
Yes, once I spit tobacco into it knowing that it was going to be thrown out. A child came and drank it about 10 min. later and puked tobacco and tea all over a white carpet.
I love cold tea, it tastes so much better so i always leave it to get cold
I'm forever doing it at work because:
1. I forget my tea is there because I'm focusing on my work.
2. I have a MASSIVE Starbucks mug, which holds a lot of tea.
3. There's a girl who is addicted to coffee and always makes me a tea while she's in the kitchen, so sometimes I don't even realise it's there!
In time, you too will come to accept and also love the cold tea...
Pmsl...many a time at work....I've been in therapy now for the past 3 years and i'm still traumatised.....
