How do you prepare yourself when you have to make an important phone call to a p!

one thing i have notice is that
you are very good at getting your
point across, and although these
stirred up feelings you have going
and coming you still will end up
saying exactly what you need to say.
Besides it is just another person on the
other end of the phone ;)

I have to summarize what I want/need to say on paper so I can gather my thoughts and keep to the key points. Also, if an other party is involved get all the info ready for questions they may have.
I remove all my clothes so I'll feel as comfortable as possible.
This tactic has caused a few problems in malls and restaurants.
Dress in your best business clothes. Even though it's a phone call, you'll be in a business mind set. Next, make the call standing up. People feel a sense of urgency when they're standing. Next, have your first 30 seconds written down to make sure that you set the tone, and the agenda. Go for it!
I just have to rehearsal what I have to ask and also think about his probable answers..my counter questions to those answers is to be thought about..It's all guess work..but it's always better to go prepared to talk with a professional..
I imagine them in their underwear. Especially appropriate when speaking with an attorney, who does alot of their work
,in SHORTS. LOL
