Any Woolworth staff on here?!
Question: I bought a HD DVD box set by mistake, I have an HD TV but my DVD is a regular one and the discs don't work in it. I didn't get it from my local Woolies and I have lost the receipt although I did pay on credit card so will have it on my credit card statement when it arrives. Can I get a replacement or refund without the receipt? I can prove it off my credit card statement that I paid for it.

You should be able to with a statement, but not without. Take the relevent part of your statement to them, not with any personal stuff, like sort codes etc. I don't work there, its just sense.
I thought Woolworth went out of business a long time ago!! what city do you live in ??
i think you should ring the shop where you bought it from. Tell them you don't have a reciept and ask if you can use your credit card statement as proof of purchase. Bring your credit card statement in with you because it will say something like Woolworths on the statement.
