At least when we are sick, we know we should rest, drink chicken soup, etc. but they don't use that kind of intelligence. Just hug him and let him know you are there. It sounds dumb, but he will know that you are worried about him and he'll know that you are with him no matter what.

Call the vet and tell them you have no money... people like me donate to them so they can help people's pets who can't afford it. :)
Look up services for low income,sometimes they can help. You could call a vet,and sometimes they give free advice.
I will trade you a half bottle of Absolut and a cheap bottle of wine (Three Buck Chuck) for your dog's food and a little viengar.
