yeah , it was like a place to hide, when my husband made me feel like i had no escape id sort of go into automatic and instead go to the safe place in my head....if you can understand what i mean.

it's not pleasant. you feel alone, deserted, unloved, not good enough, frightened and confused.
A lot. Sometimes I feel like I have no purpose or meaning in life, then I think of my grandchildren and the rest of my family and it brings me back to reality.
Only after a long period of sleep deprivation, and a lot of stress while in an altered state of consciousness. That is basically 4 and a half grams of nearly uncut red and black, and 6 nights without sleep. I am a fan of sobriety now.
It was very terrifying, but I knew in some part of my mind that it was the drugs that were making me insane.
