without a doubt, the ones who make the best of what they have are the happiest.
I think it's a little of both. The ones that "have" can be happy or miserable, and making the best of what you have depends on each individual.
If you are dirt poor and making the best of what you have so you kids can be happy doesn't necessarily mean that the parents are happier than most. It just means that they sacrifice a lot.
Look at stars in the Media.. they buy whatever they want..doesn't make them happy. But I also do my best to make things work here and the best possible things for my kids.. but it doesn't mean I'm exceptionally happy either. We all hope for more in life.
The best of everything is how you make the best of what you
