How often do people recognize something profound?!
Question: ...I think many times it goes unnoticed or unrecognized by the general population...or perhaps a person wishes it to remain under the radar or it even goes without fan fair until time has passed and it suddenly comes to light...I love to "see" and read about profound things...like the other day I was watching a documentary on heroic WWII acts...this one Veteran told how he was in a fighter plane and got "hit" and had to ditch in the ocean...after struggling to get free and swim to the surface, he remained in the ocean for hours before he was picked up by an ally ship...when the interviewer asked him about the medals he received for his heroism...he responded by simply saying..."I was just doing my job"...
How profound was that ?...I mean...here's an 80+ yr old man talking about his battles and he still wanted no special gongs for it...in my eyes, that's profound !

People aren't very smart. Us bunnies do often though. We have an eye for that kind of thing.

Rarely. I don't think people pay that much attention to the profound. They're too busy worrying about gas prices, recession, losing their civil rights...
