It makes me think of a stand up comic and the audience doesn't like your jokes.
a hard crowd to make laugh
to me, it's like when i'm around people who won't loosen up. i think of being in a room with people who won't laugh at a joke.
like a comedian trying to make people in a crowd laugh and the jokes don't seem to register.
like a comedian on a stage, and the crowd is tough to please.
