Why are plus sized clothing categorized as Women's, and does that make skinn!

Question: It just doesn't make sense to me.

Answers: It just doesn't make sense to me.

The "women's" or "W" label helps to define the size run. Misses clothing runs from sizes 0-16 (or up to 20, depending upon the retailer) and signifies a "regular cut" garmet that fits the average woman. Women's clothing funs from sizes 12W-24W (or 28, or 30 or larger, depending upon the retailer).

It's simply a label. There's no need to take offense.

No, it's just better than saying Fat womens section.

That's right, skinny women are not women, they are sticks

V.Skinny women have no breasts or bum.

Technically speaking they ARE women, they just don't look womanly.xx

I guess it makes us "Minus Sized".

Not sure I understand your question; you mean why don't they have 'plus' sized men's clothing? I think they do. And yes, it is just a more polite term for 'fat'. That would not market well.
And no, it doesn't make skinny women less of a woman; it just means they have less body fat, could be good or bad depending on how you (or your lover) views it. Cheers

neither plus sized women (obese pigs would be a better term) nor skinny women (skeletons on the brink of death would be a good term for them) should be refered to as women period

Plus sized clothing used to be labeled "Plus" but it was changed (in the past 10 or so years) to "Women's" to prevent that label from having a negative impact on the women that have to shop in that section. I guess technically it was no longer politically correct to use "plus" size. It wasn't changed because smaller women are less of a woman it was changed to make larger women feel like more of a woman.
