Are wasted times...?!

Question: really a waste? Or do you think that any experience, no matter how dull, can be enriching?

Answers: really a waste? Or do you think that any experience, no matter how dull, can be enriching?

...in the 2 years I've dropped in on this forum from time to time, I have often read questions or answers referring to "time spent" on Y/A...most make light and say it's really a waste of time...I suppose they aren't entirely wrong...yet, I have used this forum to learn about anything from the meaning of different flowers to how to fix a broken printer...not to mention new and expressive ways of discovering my inner "me"...I don't like the porn or trolls and haters on here... but even that has taught me something.....
and the answer to that should be obvious :)

time is never wasted if you're wasted all the time

It's never a waste really, you can always learn something from it.

Any experience is good if you can get something from it.

all is fair in the waiting game... from cutting toe nails to
looking for meteors

Wasted time can still be productive if you use it wisely.

You always learn from experiences

: )

Sometimes in reflection, wasted time is not so wasted when we see what we have learned from it

yes

Yes , We can learn from many , experiences

If wasted time wasn't really wasted, then there's no such thing as wasted time, right?! Did I just waste my time thinking that up?

depends really it can be can be if you don't know what you are up to at the time but you can also learn form them as long as you have some idea of what you have been up to while wasted

yes they are wasted..

i do believe that any experience is a part of your growth

No. I really don't think sitting constipated on the toilet is to be considered an enriching experience but I am sure some may find it that way. I would consider it more of a relief than an enrichment. And I don't think any fist fight I have been in has ever done anything for me either, except show me the fulitility of human violence but I knew that going into each fight. Some things in life are there to be there and we do them because we are too lazy or to ignorent not to do them once again. I have learned a lot in my life so far but the main thing I have learned is that I know nothing at all, and am greatful for that fact because in knowing that I know nothing at all I know everything that is important.

Nothing is wasted when we are aware of every single moment..

Your question is a positive way of looking at it! May not be true always, though. So, one has to be alert, and should not depend on getting second chances, that may never come!

FLOW, the book I'm reading teaches how to optimize every experience, it will take a lot of work for me to master that skill but I do understand the concept

I think you can be more efficient, with your time.
To say you have wasted time for anything, I think you could just as easly, it's all a waste of time.
