Some women look for glamour, glitz and a rough neck side to a man and others look for intelligence, comfort and security. I think what women want changes as they get older. I think like all people we tend to realize what's really important as time passes by.
A real woman is really not interested in anything material from a man, although she would accept a gift a time or two. A real woman I believe wants a man who is honestly interested in her.
