4-5 minutes then I hang up and call again.
15 seconds
I would wait 30 minutes, then hang up.
not long, that crap annoys me!
About 10 minutes it depends on who Iam waiting on
not too long, it wastes minutes...but it depends if it is important business or just chit chat. business calls I will usually hold for however long I need to, until it's obvious they forgot about me.
45 seconds is my general rule.

just depends on my mood and how important the other party is to me. If they ask sometimes I'll say no. Other times I'll just put the phone down and do my thing until they get back. Still other times I'll get to toe tapping to a twelve piece rendition of Randy Newman's "Short People".
An hour, but this is on two conditions.
A) It costs me nothing and is a customer care service I NEED.
B) My phone is on speaker, charging on the wall and sitting beside me while I browse the net.
