Has YOUR 4 year old said a 4 letter word that started with s that YOU were conce!

Question: Yeah, he's been "watching me" too much.

Answers: Yeah, he's been "watching me" too much.

No, but when he got his last vaccine, he walked away in tears saying "goddammit....goddammit!"

i don't have kids yet

lol no not yet

Nope. Not yet. I hope it stays that way. (He will be 5 this summer)

His worse thing is... "What the heck!"

lol

my little cousin used to.....her mother has road rage

OMG! He says soup all the TIME! I wish he would stop that!

My niece says Gangster b*tch all the time. Picked it up from the children next door. And she say oh for f*cksake and s*it when she drops something, and yes its VERY concerning to hear a 3 year old say such things.

Yes he did. He said F-ing truck right in front of my mom and dad. They both looked at me and I started laughing and said that ones not my word.

He also used to say Damnit while on the pot pooping, but he is older now and knows that it is wrong to say dirty words. :)

Well, when my son was in the first grade, the teacher asked the kids to say a word that started with the "sh" sound. Needless to say, my son said the "s" word. When his teacher asked him where he heard that word, he said, "Mommy says it when she gets really mad sometimes." I wanted to crawl under a rock.

Well, I don't have a four year old, but last summer I was at one of my friend's house and her 4 year old said that word and it I was concerned that my friend and her husband would use that language around their son. I asked her about it, and she said she didn't know where he picked it up at and then she explained to him that the word was a word that most people did not like to here and he hasn't said the word since.

he couldn't say it properly, he used to say......holy THIT.

No my children have not, though my 19yr old who doesn't live me me said the F word today and I got onto her. I don't care that she doesn't live at home anymore, I won't have that language in my home!
Ya know kids repeat what they hear and if they don't hear bad language they won't repeat it.
I don't even allow the word shut up in my home.
I CRINGED today when I saw the new Burger King commercial and they SCREAM that word! So now I have to avoid them viewing it. Though the word is not considered a bad word, I consider it rude.
Though it's tough to control what they hear outside of your home, what they do hear inside is controllable. Save the R rated movies for when they're asleep and don't use bad language yourself, your spouse, etc.
Right now the worst word my children who are under 10 have said is dork, which I was not happy about either and it was obvious they hear it at school or on the bus.
I'm sure I'll get thumbs down and people considering me uptight or whatever, but you know what? I am trying to raise kind and considerate children who I hope will grow up to be pleasant and kind and considerate rather than rude and obnoxious.

Not lately, but:

sock
seat
sing
sand
said
sack
sail
sank
shot

"Will I STILL be SAFE, if I said ****?"
sane
safe
****

4 year old children say what they hear!

All is normal!
Bless!
