Take away the fact that "normal" users can report. I have had 20+ accounts suspended for no reason except hate.
destroy trollers and somehow monitor people who just give thumbs down.
Out of fear of reprisal, we are going to have to go with:

Yahoo is great.
on the profile page would have a setion on how many times the person has reported a violation and how many violations they have got. Would be able to spot the trolls a mile off.
You shouldn't be able to report people just because your in a huffy mood or for any reason.
I would get rid of the thumbs down!! And would love to see those who have reported our questions!! This would enable me to hunt them down and bury the buggers alive!! I wouldn't be at level 2 if not for them!!!
I agree with both of the above answer and I will do something about what they call chatting. they report people for chatting when is not chatting. I got four violation about that.
Yes, If i had charge of Yahoo i would let anyone say what they want to say because people are people and they should be able to speak there mind anyway they want,if someone gets upset about it then that's there weakness and problem. I don't let things people say get the best of me..
Also I would add a personal chat for people who want to talk more about there question/answers .hm mm i have allot more to say but if i go on it would be a book LOL *Smile*
heck yea. the daily limit for answering (have to erase that), reporting people (who reports us & who we report should be written on our profile page), and a million other Y!A rules that are just plain ridiculous.

I would love to make a rule that you couldn't give best answer to anyone in your contacts or fans.I'm sure it's a waste of time answering some questions on here because the question ask-er and a various question answerer are obviously mates.You can always tell by the comment written when the best answer is awarded.
Enforce the no multiple accounts rule a bit more rigidly.
All users would have a visible mini profile showing a real photo, age, gender and country of residence. Number of times they have reported people and what for. Number of times they have been reported and what for.
These steps would take power away from the morons who get off on reporting people over petty trivialities and place it in the hands of the average reasonable user.
In other words I would make the site less like a dictatorship and more like a democracy.
