Question: No moon and the stars were absolutely stunning, toward morning there was a hint of aurora, not real bright, just that dim pale greenish glow. Working nights can suck at times but there are rewards.

Wow you can see Aurora in Montana? I didn't think that was north enough hmmm. That would be beautiful. I would love to go to farther north and see the whole spectacular show...I hate the cold but that would be worth it.
We used to live on a hill with no trees large enough to speak of out in the country and the stars at night were amazing, I miss that!!

Well, by working nights, you do have the best of all worlds....the night sky all to yourself, and no people to interrupt that.....jealous here!!! Where were you to have seen the hint of an aurora?
