all i can say....such kind of behavior is not real....i mean they intentionally treat other people like rubbish but doesn't mean that from heart....sometime some feelings makes them do so...

Recently I have come to the conclusion (about one person in particular who constantly persecutes my family) that they are just mean and may not even know they are doing it :(

Yes. It depends on the relationship. Some people feel insecure, so they like to make others feel bad about themselves as well. Others want to control, so they try to ruin other peoples' self-esteem so they can control them better. There are other reasons as well, but they are two of the main ones that spring to mind.
I think just because they can...........makes them feel better about themselves i guess!!
usually they are jealous of the other person .!!!!!!!!!! or feel they are superior .for some sad reason .!!!!!!!!!!
They do it because people allow them to and sometimes it rubs off on other people so we end up with lots of people with issues.
