I love the summer, my children and i go for picnics in the park and up on the mountain near a farm where we live.
We spend the day at the beach or sometimes we just sit or play in the garden.

I live about 30-40 mins drive from the Brecon Beacons National Park and love taking the kids there in the summer - haven't been for a while though so hopefully get there again this summer

I usually go somewhere in the North Georgia Mountains - Sweetwater Preserve or Red Top Mountain outside of Atlanta. Also love Monte Sano Mountain in Huntsville, Alabama - the October leaves are a spectacular show
We don't have much of a "nature" here in Los Angeles but, I love to walk on the beach. I particularly like Malibu for "nature" appreciation. For "freak" appreciation I love Venice Beach...is full of the strangest people you would ever see...from bohemian artist, fortune tellers to druggies of course.?

i go to my old park....
and we walk around barefoot on the pavement...nice and cool...but yet hot...:D
