Can you name the songs and the artists?!

Question: Here are lines from songs which contain the word "dream/dreams" in them. Can you name the song and the artist from all of them?
It won't be easy as there are several genres represented. It will also be helpful to know some of them are quite old.

Good luck!

1. "I thought to myself, what could this mean? Am I going crazy, or is this a dream?..."

2. "To sail on a dream on a crystal clear ocean..."

3. "And though your dreams may toss and turn you now..."

4. "Wide awake, you face the day, the dream is over....or has it just begun?..."

5. "And though I'm wide awake, I know my dream is coming true..."

6. "The dream is over."

Not sure about the other ones..but #4 gave me a flashback. I forgot about that song..Its Queensryche"Silent Lucidity."

And #3 is Cat Stevens "Oh very Young."

#2 John Denver "Calypso"

#1 sounds like a song from Pink Floyd's The Wall. But that's it for me...have to put my daughter down for a nappy. =)

Awww..thanks. And thanks for adding me back. These are always fun to do..you should do more. =) Report It

  • Number 6 is "God" by John Lennon.

    1. ?

    2. "Calypso" by John Denver

    3. "Oh Very Young" by Cat Stevens

    4. "Silent Lucidity" by Queensryche

    5. ?

    6. "God" by John Lennon

    1. That is a line from War's "Spill The Wine"!

Well, I wish I had seen this earlier because I knew them all. I am coming in on the tail end, but I know the answer to number 5.

It is Anne Murray's "I Just Fall In Love Again". But technically I only got one out of 6, so I think best answer should go to Smithy, who got four out of the six.
