I have a sister that keeps stealing my things?!

Question: She just ruined a 280 dollar coat, and she lost my tiffany's necklace (that she took without permission) that my boyfriend gave me! What should I do about her? I lock my stuff up, but she'll tell my mom she needs in my room becuase she can't find something of hers and then come in and steal my things. Or, sometimes, she'll pick the lock! I'm moving out soon, but I just bought a 870 dollar dress and if she ruins that I may just have to kill her! Its not like she has a job so I can't make her pay me back- what can I do?!

i think its me... since we look alike...\

wait.. if you have a car.. make her wash it.. if you have a job that needs to be done... make her do it until you think she has paid it off,.. make her do the petty things for a loooong time... make her do your bed for two months... make her pay for clothes...

move out

buy cheap clothes

okay, i like nice clothes sure, but i don't come on yahoo answers and tell everybody the price of the things i wear, because thats really tacky and low of you

tell her to stop or put a booby trap around your stuff dress especially

hide your things .... tell your mum about what she has done and warn her not to let her in your room under any circumstances

and threaten to take her stuff ... make her pay it back

.... or just buy cheaper things

My older sister steals my things all the time to- but she keeps them.

Ask your mother to take the money that the object she stole/ruined cost out of her bank account and give it to you.

thats what I do.

Get a safety deposit box at a local bank and put all your valuable stuff there, at least until you can move out!

--? When she tells your mom that, follow her in and keep an eye on her. Did you tell your mom about this? I`d be so mad.

How old is she?
No matter the age TELL YOUR PARENTS!!!!!
plus asap
Go to the drugstore and buy the most uncommon lock used no matter the price, its better than your stuff being ruined. Put on your closet or bedroom door or both!
GOOD LUCK!

Go in her room and steal her stuff!

try putting it in her room (hidden of course) or in a brothers room. Or ask your mom to put in her closet. Your little sister would never look for it in their room or hers. Ask one of your Friends to hold it for you. Or take it as compliment she wants to look like and wear what you wear. Unless shes like a year or maybe 2 or even 3 years younger than you. But from what you wrote it seem she a small little girl who admires you.

You are doing the right thing by moving out. What you need is a trunk with a big lock on it.

I would make her pay for everything that she has ruined to teach her a lesson. Other wise she will keep doing it. If she were a dog I would bump her on the nose with a news paper till she got the picture..... LOL... Same concept.....
