Do you make someone a contact expecting that they will make you one as well?!
Question: Sure don't.
I make someone a contact because they *sparkle*.
And I love shinny things!
I'm selfish like that :-)
I try not to expect anything from anyone...
It only leads to disappointment...
People have different reasons for doing different things...
It's rather narcissist to take the actions of others, personal...
I feel suffocated when people expect from me here...
So, no...I do not expect from others...

I think its hurtful to Forigners!

Well yes I do, I did that once, they didn't add me back.
But they usually add me anyway.

You talking about AIM? if so, dont expect it unless you both are mutual friends on the outside. I wouldnt add someone i hadnt met in person.

I don't.
No - not usually
?.blondy
I have never made a contact.
But I would kinda want them to send me an e-mail or at least have answered a few of my questions if nothing else before they made me a contact.
No.
I thought they automatically became contacts on yours when they added you...I shoulda read the Yahoo Answers Guidelines!
not really only if interested in the question they asked and want to know when they ask another one
Yeah. I would hope they would want to have me as a contact, as I do them.
well, someone connected to me and when I went check em out it said in their profile to E-MAIL FIRST or be blocked. Like wtf?????
I ain't gonna e-mail to ask permission to be their contact!!
soooooo...what do I do? remove em? or ask? I think the proper thing would be for that person to e'mail me to say that I'm welcome....
No.
nah
ya.... mostly..the whole friend set-up on here sucks
Honestly, no. Whether they do or not is their business.
deep inside i think so.
