i clean commercial bizzes at night, and hand sanitizers are a great way of getting germs off my hands in a hurry so i don't catch anything, but if my hands are dirty, i have to have soap and water, and maybe even something to scrub with!!!

Soap and water is enough, but in school, we are not allowed to wash our hands before lunch even when they r so dirty. I try to sometimes, but if I can't, I'll use a wipe and sometimes if I run out, my friends hand sanitizer. People in my class r obsessed with sanitizer! It feels weird, smells weird, and burns my hands!

Sometimes. I agree I think it is a waste of money. I know people who use sanitizer, so I just use their's. I prefer soap and water also.

I bring hand sanitizer with me when I go shopping. There are germs on doors, shopping carts, even some dust on food packaging. Before hand sanitizer came out, I used to carry 'wipes' around with me (like "Monk" from TV), because I hated getting so dirty in grocery and department stores.
urine is sterile so pee on your hands!! LOL Soap And water is very sufficient .I am more conscience of this since I caught a MRSA staff infection last summer while camping and washing does help prevent things like that the jell stuff works 2 .But good washing is plenty:)

I have to since I work with food. I prefer to use the sanitizer since washing my hands repeatedly leaves them feeling so "dry." I wash frequently but most often use the mandatory sanitizer.
I do, I work at a hospital (receptionist) and have sick people handing me stuff - I can't leave my desk so I figure it's the next best thing

I do at work. I work in an Accounting office and handle cash all night. You never know who sneezed or coughed on the bills before handing them to a cashier. I occasionally see a bill with dried blood on it.
