Edit: Ok so I guess its to do with dropping food on the floor. In that case, No I don't believe in the rule-anything on the floor is the dogs, Always. :)
It depends. Depends on what type of food it is (such as if it was something like oatmeal...no way am I plopping it back into my bowl to eat!), and also depends on how well I have been cleaning that week! If it was a chip, on a floor that had been recently cleaned...sure, I guess I would pick it up and eat it. (but I wouldn't pick up a chip under those circumstances if I hadn't dropped it just to eat it). Hmmm...I didn't realize I would have so much to say about this! LOL! I guess it really all depends.
