Question: a planned baby, or a "happy accident"?
my father told me that when my mother told him she was pregnant with me, he was a little angry, because at the time, he didn't want any kids. but he says now that he would've regretted it deeply if she'd listened to him when he told her to get an abortion, he feels the same way about my little brother (who is 5, there's a 15-yr age difference between the two of us). did your parents plan to have you, or were you just a surprise?

Dad lied to Mom about a lot of things. Mom wanted lots of kids; Dad said he loved kids. Bull! He never liked us. Though Mom wanted lots of kids, she was surprised when she found out she was pregnant with me. She calls me her "good surprise." For a long time I disagreed. I hated myself for a long time, believed I didn't have a purpose. Oddly enough, being on here answering questions helped me realize what I want to do with my life. Then I started putting the pieces together and realized a lot of stuff went together and was pointing me that direction all along. Duh!

Actually, if no birth control is used, how can anyone say a baby was not planned...baby is planned by not planning to prevent one.
When I was pregnant with my second son, my mom told me
"Two kids is just the right amout"

So happy accident? I sure hope so.
i think i was an accident....and not a happy one either...until afterwards.
Well, I don't really know about planning...All I know is that me, my older sister, and my younger brother were all born (at different years) 9 months after my dad had military leave from overseas.
