We all feel this way sometime. Look at it as just a phase and it will pass in time. Tomorrow will be a better day. As for where you should come to live, the only place I can think of is to Chicago were, I'm at. I promise you that you will never be lonely!

stick your finger in the hole......

say something nice to them or give them money

I make them laugh - or try to at least and if that fails, i just ask if they need to talk. usually talking helps especially if you actually listen!

I give people cake

Sing and dance!

At times like that, it's important to keep up your spirits.
You have to understand you must be you own best friend. Have hope. I pray everyday not to be depress and look and the negative , but understand you are not a only we all have these feeling keep up the faith there will be better days. smile a life.Read your bible or Great website go to hhtp://bible1.crosswalk.com and type in your feelings. Sometimes an unplanned period of bed rest can be just what we really needed. But, not always.

To make a sick or injured person get better faster, it's important to treat them gently and keep in mind that both body and soul need attention.

After you take care of the routine stuff - food, water, cleanliness, light, air, temperature (blankets? fan?), and so on - then you can raise your sights and think about the touches that make a person feel better.

Some ideas:
* Read your Bible
* flowers
* massage, back rub, foot rub
* photograph albums of happy times
* music or audio books
* movies and TV
* phone
* stack of stamped postcards to send
* short visits from friends
* get well cards
* a variety of fresh foods (small portions, large variety)
* balance of time alone and time with company
* an interesting, changing view out the window.
* a warm bath with bubbles

One of the most frustrating things about being a patient, even if it's only for a short time, is the sense of helplessness and the lack of independence it brings. To alleviate this, make sure the person feels included to a level that's appropriate to their illness or injury.

And here's hoping none of us need to use any of these suggestions any time soon!

You just tell me your troubles and I'll make you feel better. That's one of my missions here in this life.

As a precursor to what I would say is that every single feeling and thought that you have is completely valid.

I tell them a joke to cheer them up.

Joke:
I went to my shrink. He told me I was going crazy.
I said Doc if you don't mind I would like to get a second opinion. He says, alright your ugly too!
