yes, Orion is one of my favorite night objects, especially M42 (the sword-Orion's nebula). I view through a 114mm reflective scope with no filters, another favorite is Andromeda galaxy (M31)

i think its fun sitting and looking at the stars. we do it at my grandparents house cause we can see way more there than where i live. and i can only point out little dipper and big dipper lol

Yeas,looking at the skies is my favorite amusement but the only constellation I can always point out is the big dipper.
this place is a terrible spot for stargazing.
I could do so when I was in school, but not any more. Forgotten all that.......... oops!!!!
