Have you ever been so hungry....?!

Question: ....you chew on your scented candles and then spit the wax out?
Or, maybe not spit the wax out?

I find that Yankee candles have the most authentic flavor.

no

Yeah, I did it when I was 4.

I ate candles before but it was because I was curious, not because I was hungry.

I did once, but I was really drunk.

No

They DO smell REALLY good, don't they?

Go ahead and eat the wax - adds fiber and makes things slickery!

No, I would never eat a candle...too chewy!!

It's called Pica. There really is a name for it, it's when people eat soap also. You don't have to be hungry to do it. Have you checked out the local pantries, they will give you a clothing voucher also for the local thrift store if you ask!

Not because of hunger. I was dying for a smoke.
Sigh. Candles were all I had.

I ate my boot once, little salty from foot sweat but it made a turd.

No, lol.

I have one made by Patriot Candles that is called Chocolate Chip Cookie....it smells good enough to eat. Just watch out for the wick....lol.

no, my brain is not creative enough to think about it LOL

No I haven't, and I would hate to think someone is that hungry if I can feed them.

Not candles, but Chap Stick.

hahahahahahahaha.
=D

ive done it with gum - not good for the plumbing

when i was a child i would chew my diper

no

Beeswax candles are the way to go nutritionally speaking. Low in carbs, low in fat, low in sugar, low in just about everything actually. One step up from wax lips I think. Of course if you can't get beeswax, just remember to stay away from the red ones, hallucinogenic you know.

not spit the wax,but it clogged me. lucky thing the wick was still attached. just lit the wick and had a pleasant smelling bathroom

When I was a kid I had these candy coke bottles made out of wax filled with colored sugar water. Somebody told me the wax was edible but it had no flavor and it was waxy. I ate some of it. Another time I was dropped out at the swimming pool with my friend in the morning and was not picked up until that evening. We had stood at the food bar watching people eat but we had no money. When we got home we ate loaf bread with pancake syrup in her pantry because her mother was working at waffle house and the other two adults were these big man and woman that stayed in bed constantly in their room.

yes and i was like why do i do the things i do, but why do i do the do!!

no. haha.

the vanilla ones are good

My soy candles taste like different flavored soy beans :)

I remember a time when I LITERALLY hadn't eaten in days (another story), and I was trying to sleep (which didn't come easy during that period). I was so damned hungry, and it was the middle of the night. The ONLY thing in my apartment was a box of pasta. I cooked the pasta, and only had salt and pepper for flavor. You know, that was one of the best meals that I can remember.

So I suppose the answer to your question would be no, but if I didn't have any pasta that night, I could have enjoyed a candle just as much.

here's 5 bucks... and here's a change of clothes.... u smell rancid today :)

Nope, old timer. You ran out of money again for a bottle of wine, I guess and the DT's are starting to hit you real strong <pulls out wallet> Here you go guy, take $5.00 and get yourself a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 Enjoy
