  • It's all garbage. The recording companies are too busy suing 13-yr-olds to make decent music.

    No way, youre not alone.

You can always change the station. There's something for everybody now days.

    No.

    Yes most of it sucks.

A think a few of the songs played are actually good, until they start overplaying them. I used to know a lot of songs before they were played on the radio, and now I don't like them anymore because I keep hearing them over and over again.

i think its terrible to thats why i listen to old songs

that's why I rarely listen to the radio anymore...its all teenagers making music in their garage, and this is coming from a teenager.

Not all of it is bad, but all of the mainstream stuff is so horrible. Back in the day mainstream stuff was actually good, because people had taste. I don't know where it all went. That's why I find my music on the internet mostly. I can't listen to the radio, it makes me cringe. And I definitely dig older tunes.

    Radio = embarrassment to music

All types of media ruin music along with many other things.

I enjoy underground music that is only listened to people in the scene so I dont have to deal with their bullshit.

I was at a say anything show before they were big and it was amazing.

I then went to a show after their album "Is a real boy" got really popular. I was surprised to see that many 13-15 year old children were there at the show with there sandles and purses. I mean you dont go to a show in sandles and purses and worst of all they were standing in the pits. Omg that was so ******* annoying.

    *gasp*
    someone thinks differently!
    your're a witch!
    *faints*

The very last tune/song that came out that I really liked was "Smooth" by Santana featuring Rob Thomas...
That's pretty sad considering it came out in 1999...LOL

I do! I refuse to listen to it, I stick with my CDs.

I live in Philadelphia, PA, a VERY large city, with [what seems like] HUNDREDS of FM and AM stations. NOT A SINGLE ONE plays music I can tolerate. I just want calm, relaxing music to die by. Is that so much to ask? There USED to be a radio station in a nearby state that had nice relaxing music. I put up a 5 element beam to get JUST THAT ONE STATION! Finally one nice station came to this area. It was delightful. EVERYBODY over the age of 25 was tuned in to it. EVERYBODY. Then between 1980 and 1990 that station changed format to noise, and there has been nothing bearable to listen to since then. It is AMAZING that in such a large city, there is nothing to listen to! :O

There is also nothing to watch on TV. Cable has 300+ channels - all violent, deceitful, dirty stuff; and I haven't had cable TV for many years.

    Pretty hard to beieve, huh?
