Answers: a few days ago i wrote a letter someone requested and never got a similar one in return

I do nice things all the time I don't expect to be rewarded

last year
i went to the sf homeless connect and i was there to help serve them food.

this year

Today, Some lady was having a hard time putting her money into a parking meter. I think she has parkinsons. So i went and dropped it in for her

It depends on what caliber of nice you are looking for. Mildly nice, I do all the time. Really nice, I hardly get the chance to do, but I will try my hardest when I can.

Saturday- During the 20" of snow Ohio got, I used my snow blower twice on my neighbors driveway- They are both older and have health problems

almost everyday...
An elderly friend with MS who has recently passed had a lovely lab-retriever that I would walk every day, she died soon after him because she wouldn't eat.. refused to..
and yeah other things

At an ex-workplace there was a lady who would bring food and stock the kitchen in case anyone got hungry.. we're talking bread, baked beans, cheese, ham, cookies, chips, fruit everything... and this wasn't a young workplace either.. the woman was just really motherly

I have long given rewards away .

i bought my bf an ipod touch today

i donated money to a deaf lady.
:P

Every 5 minutes at work, I work in IT and constantly make people happy :-)

lol I always do nice things and don't expect anything. I wash another family's laundry for them ( they are relatives) and they work most of the day so don't have time. I do it when i do mine. I also make their lunch, I do many things. I don't mine when it helps out.

today

I cleaned my room, knowing I would not get rewarded, but I didn't care! :-D

Fixed up the garden by cutting the over grown spikey plants.. Not knowing i had to cut through huge roots.. Now my arms are killing me. But the garden is looking so much better and cleaner

Everyday I tell at least one person I see smoking to stop smoking...hoping to be someone's guardian angel...
I smoked for 32 years and got lung cancer...

If you're honest, there's almost always some reward for doing something 'nice'. It doesn't need to depend on someone else giving you praise or thanks.

It may just be a good feeling inside, knowing that you have done something for which you can give yourself credit.

Yesterday I had my cat checked by a Vet because he had been attacked by another cat. The Vet said no harm had been done to him, and today he's fully recovered.

I'm pleased with myself that I was responsible enough to have him checked out. That's my reward.

When buying the presents for my wifes special birthday this year,,my stepdaughter and I are buying several between us,,

For the last year or so I have been out of work through ill health.

As I am not a "sit at home doing jack sh!t all day". For two days a week I have been a volunteer. Befriending the elderly and shopping for the housebound. I have been threatened with sticks and God knows what.

And I sincerely hope never to see another bag of dried bloody prunes EVER AGAIN!

Having said that, it kept my confidence going and now I am ready to go back to work.

Please people out there don't be "bored" - - - volunteer. xxx

I do nice things every day, what a nice world it would be if everybody did the same. !!

I do nice things all the time

Nice deeds inevitably attract rewards, either directly or indirectly!
